٣١٢٩٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن ابي إسحاق عن ابي الاحوص في قوله: ﴿وسبح بحمد ربك حين تقوم﴾ [الطور: ٤٨]، قال: (إذا) (١) قمت فقل: (سبحان) (٢) الله وبحمده.

Hazrat Abu Ishaq says that Hazrat Abu Al-Ahwas said regarding the saying of Allah Almighty: (And glorify your Lord with His praise when you rise) When you rise, say these words: Allah is Pure and I praise Him.

٣١٣٠٠ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن محمد بن مسلم عن عمرو بن دينار عن عبيد بن عمير قال: كنا نعد الاواب الحفيظ، إذا قام من مجلسه قال: اللهم اغفر لي ما اصبت في (مجلسي) (١) هذا.

Hazrat Amr bin Dinar says that Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair said: When a person stands up from his gathering, he should recite this supplication: O Allah! Forgive me for the deeds I have done in this gathering of mine.

Hazrat Habib narrates that Hazrat Yahya bin Ja'dah said: The expiation for a gathering is these words: I declare Your purity, and I praise You, I seek Your forgiveness and I repent before You.

٣١٣٠٢ - حدثنا ابو اسامة وابن نمير عن هشام بن عروة عن عباد بن عبد الله بن الزبير قال: سمعت عائشة تقول: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ (يقول) (١) وهو مستند إلى (صدري) (٢):"اللهم اغفر لي وارحمني والحقني بالرفيق" (٣).

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say these words while he was reclining against my chest: O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, and join me with the Highest Companion.

٣١٣٠٣ - حدثنا ابو معاوية عن الاعمش (عن مسلم) (١) عن مسروق عن عائشة قالت: كان رسول الله ﷺ يكثر ان يقول قبل ان يموت:"سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك استغفرك واتوب إليك"، (قال) (٢): فقلت: يا رسول الله، ما هذه الكلمات التي (قد) (٣) احدثتها (تقولها) (٤)؛ قال:"جعلت لي علامة لامتي إذا رايتها قلتها: ﴿إذا جاء نصر الله والفتح﴾" (٥).

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, he would frequently supplicate with this prayer: O Allah! I declare Your purity and praise You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says, I asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What are these words that you are reciting? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: A sign has been set for me regarding my Ummah, that when I see it, I will recite this Surah: When the help of Allah and victory comes.

٣١٣٠٤ - (حدثنا يونس بن محمد) (١) حدثنا ليث بن سعد (عن يزيد عن) (٢) موسى بن سرجس عن القاسم بن محمد عن عائشة (قالت) (٣): (قال) (٤) (٥) رسول الله ﷺ وهو يموت وعنده قدح فيه ماء فيدخل يده في القدح ويمسح وجهه بالماء ثم يقول:"اللهم اعني على سكرات الموت" (٦).

(٢) سقط من النسخ، وزاد في [هـ]: (بن حبيب) أخذًا من السنن؛ ولم يرد ذلك في جميع النسخ، وقد ذكر الحافظ في النكت الظراف ١٢/ ٢٨٦، أنه راجع نسخ مسند ابن أبي شيبة فوجدها (عن يزيد)، غير منسوب، وصوب أنه ابن الهاد وأن ابن ماجه وهم في قوله: (ابن حبيب).
(٣) في [ط]: (قال).
(٤) في [ط]: (قلت)، وفي [هـ]: (رأيت).
(٥) زيادة في [ط]: (يا).
(٦) مجهول؛ لجهالة موسى بن سرجس، أخرجه أحمد (٢٤٣٥٦)، وابن ماجه (١٦٢٣)، والترمذي (٩٧٨)، والحاكم ٢/ ٤٦٥، والنسائي في الكبرى (٧١٠١)، وأبو يعلى (٤٥١٠)، وابن سعد ٢/ ٢٥٨، والخطيب ٧/ ٢٠٨، وأصله بدون الدعاء عند البخاري (٤٤٤٩).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was near death, and there was a bowl of water near him, he put his hand into the bowl and wiped his face with the water. Then he began to supplicate: O Allah! Protect me from the agonies of death.

٣١٣٠٥ - حدثنا ابو معاوية عن الاعمش عن مسلم عن مسروق عن عائشة قالت: لما ثقل رسول الله ﷺ قال:"اللهم اغفر لي والحقني (بالرفيق) (١)"، قالت: فكان هذا آخر ما سمعت من (كلامه) (٢) (٣).

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became burdened by illness, he supplicated: O Allah! Forgive me, and join me with the Highest Companion. Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: Thus, this was the last sentence I heard from the speech of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

٣١٣٠٦ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن مالك بن انس عن ابي الزبير عن طاوس عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا تهجد من الليل قال:"اللهم لك الحمد انت نور السماوات والارض (١)، ولك الحمد (و) (٢) انت قيام السماوات (والارض) (٣)، ولك الحمد وانت رب السماوات والارض ومن فيهن، انت الحق (وقولك الحق) (٤)، والجنة حق والنار حق والساعة حق، اللهم (لك) (٥) اسلمت وبك، آمنت، وعليك توكلت، (٦) وبك خاصمت، وإليك حاكمت، (اغفر لي) (٧) ما قدمت وما اخرت وما اسررت وما اعلنت وما انت اعلم به مني، (٨) انت المقدم والمؤخر (لا) (٩) إله إلا انت" (١٠).

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the Tahajjud prayer at night, he would supplicate as follows: O Allah! All praise is for You; You are the Light of the heavens and the earth, and all praise is for You; You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth, and all praise is for You; You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is within them. You are the Truth, and Your word is the truth, and Paradise is the truth, and the Fire is the truth, and the Resurrection is the truth. O Allah! I submit to You alone, and I believe in You alone, and I rely upon You alone, and with Your help I contend (with the enemy), and to You I turn for judgment. So forgive me for all that I have done before and all that I will do later, and what I have done secretly and what I have done openly, and You know more about them than I do. You are the First and You are the Last. There is no deity worthy of worship except You.

٣١٣٠٧ - حدثنا زيد بن حباب عن معاوية بن صالح قال: حدثني ازهر بن (سعيد) (١) عن عاصم بن حميد قال: سالت عائشة ماذا كان رسول الله ﷺ يفتتح به ⦗١٧٧⦘ قيام الليل؟ قالت: لقد سالتني عن شيء ما سالني عنه احد قبلك، كان يكبر عشرا ويحمد عشرا ويسبح عشرا ويستغفر عشرا، ويقول:"اللهم اغفر لي واهدني وارزقني وعافني، ويتعوذ من ضيق المقام يوم القيامة" (٢).

Hazrat Asim bin Humaid narrates that I asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): With which words did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) begin the night prayer? Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: Indeed, you have asked me about something that no one has asked me before you. Then she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would say "Allahu Akbar" ten times, praise Allah ten times, declare His purity ten times, and seek forgiveness ten times, and would supplicate as follows: "O Allah! Forgive me, guide me, grant me sustenance, and grant me well-being." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would also seek refuge from the constriction of space on the Day of Resurrection.

٣١٣٠٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن الاعمش عن ابي الضحى عن مسروق قال: كنا مع ابي موسى (فجننا) (١) الليل إلى بستان خرب، قال: فقام من الليل يصلي فقرا قراءة حسنة، ثم قال: اللهم إنك مؤمن تحب المؤمن، ومهيمن تحب المهيمن، سلام تحب السلام، صادق تحب الصادق (٢).

Hazrat Masruq narrates that we were with Hazrat Abu Musa, the night had become quite dark, so we took shelter in a deserted garden. Hazrat Masruq says: Hazrat Abu Musa stood up and started offering Tahajjud prayer at night and recited very beautifully. Then he supplicated as follows: O Allah! You are the Giver of peace and faith, You love those who give peace, and You are the Protector, You love those who protect, and You are Peace, You love those who bring peace, You are Truthful, You love those who speak the truth.
