Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The four phrases are the most beloved words to Allah: Allah is free from all defects, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. It does not matter with which of these phrases you begin.

Hazrat Samurah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The most excellent words are four: Allah is free from all defects, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no sin upon you whichever of these words you begin with.

Hazrat Sariyyah, who was the slave woman of Abdullah bin Ja'far, narrates: I passed by Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) while I was pregnant. He placed his hand on my stomach and prayed: O Allah! Make this a blessed boy. She says: I gave birth to a child.

Hazrat Dawood bin Shaboor narrates that a person said to Hazrat Taawoos: "Please pray for us." So he replied: "At this moment, I do not find fear in my heart."

Hazrat Ghailan narrates that when a crow would caw, Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) would supplicate as follows: O Allah! There is no evil omen except Your evil omen, and there is no good except Your good, and there is no true deity except You.

Hazrat A'mash says that I heard Hazrat Yahya bin Wathab reciting the Qunoot supplication in this way: O Allah! Punish the disbelievers among the People of the Book, O Allah! Make their hearts like the hearts of disbelieving women.

Hasan narrates that Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We used to supplicate while standing and sitting, and we used to recite tasbih in the state of bowing and prostration.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir narrates that a man came and complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about his wife. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held both of their heads and prayed: O Allah! Create love and affection between them.

Hazrat Salih bin Hayan narrates that I heard Hazrat Abu Wa'il saying: Hazrat Umar gave me four gifts with his own hand and said: Saying "Allahu Akbar" once is better than the world and whatever is in it.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Busr narrates that a man came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to him. Then he brought sattu (roasted barley flour) and ghee in the food, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate it. Then he brought water, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave it to the one on his right. And when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate dates, he would throw the pit like this. And he showed by gesturing on the back of his two fingers. And he said: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mounted his ride, my father stood up and held the reins of his animal, then said: O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah for us. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed thus: O Allah! Bless what You have provided for them, forgive them, and have mercy on them.
