Narrated by Hazrat Fatimah bint Qais: She said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came one day at noon and led the prayer, then sat on the pulpit. The people stood up, and he said: O people! Sit down. Surely, I did not stand here out of desire or fear. And he said this because he had not previously sat on the pulpit at that hour. But Tamim Dari came to me and told me such news that its joy and the coolness of my eyes prevented me from taking a nap. I wished to tell you Tamim’s news in your presence. He told me that a group of his paternal cousins traveled by sea. A strong wind struck them, and that wind cast them onto an island which they did not recognize. So they boarded the nearest boats and set out towards the island. There, they came upon a black creature that was very hairy. They could not discern whether it was a man or a woman. They said to it: Will you not tell us? It replied: I will not tell you, nor will I ask you about anything. But there is a monastery near which you are, and in it is a man who is eager to tell you about yourselves and to ask you questions. They asked it: What is this thing? It said: I am a spy. They went out and reached the monastery. They sought permission to enter, and he granted it. There, they found an old man bound in heavy shackles. He was expressing sorrow and complaining a lot. They greeted him with salam, and he responded to their salam and asked: Where have you come from? They said: From Sham (Syria). He asked: Of which people are you? They said: Of the Arabs. He asked: What is the condition of the Arabs? Has their Prophet appeared? They said: Yes. He asked: What have the Arabs done? They told him that a people had opposed them, but Allah gave them victory over them, and now they are all united. He said: That is good. And it was also mentioned that the Arabs have believed in him, followed him, and affirmed him. He said: That is better for them. Then he asked: What is the condition of the spring of Zughar? They replied: It is good; the people there drink from it when thirsty and irrigate their crops with it. He asked: What is the condition of the dates of Amman and Baisan? They replied: They yield fruit throughout the year. He asked: What is the condition of the Sea of Tiberias? They said: It is full, and due to the abundance of water, its banks are overflowing. The narrator said: He took a deep breath, then another deep breath, then another deep breath, then he swore an oath and said: If I am released, or he said: If I escape from these shackles, or he said: From this place, I will not leave any land except that I will trample it with these two feet of mine, except for Taybah (Madina Munawwarah). I will have no path or authority over it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is the height of my happiness. This is Taybah, and by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), this is Taybah. Allah has made my sanctuary forbidden for Dajjal to enter. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) swore an oath and said: There is no narrow or wide path, soft ground or mountain in (Taybah) except that upon it is an angel with a drawn sword, appointed until the Day of Resurrection. Dajjal does not have the power to enter Madinah. Mujahid says that Amir informed me, saying: I narrated this hadith before Qasim bin Muhammad. Qasim said: I bear witness upon Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she narrated this hadith to me, except that she said: Both sanctuaries are forbidden to him—Makkah and Madinah. Amir said: I met Muharrar bin Abi Hurairah. I narrated to him the narration of Fatimah bint Qais. He said: I bear witness about my father (Hazrat Abu Hurairah) that he narrated to me just as Fatimah narrated to you, not omitting a single word, except that my father added one thing: He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lowered his hand toward the east about twenty times; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lowered his hand downward.

Hazrat Salamah bin Khail Abi al-Za’raa narrates from Hazrat Abdullah: Dajjal was mentioned in his presence. Hazrat Abdullah said: O people, at the time of his emergence, you will be divided into three groups. One group will follow him, one group will go to the lands of their forefathers where grass grows, and one group will take hold of the banks of the Euphrates. He (Dajjal) will fight them, and they (the people) will fight him, until the believers gather on the western side of Syria. They will send a force towards him, among whom will be a horseman riding a white or piebald horse. All of them will be killed; not a single one of them will return. Salamah said: Abu Sadiq narrated to me from Rabee’ah bin Najid that Hazrat Abdullah said: It will be a white, reddish horse. Then Hazrat Abdullah said: The People of the Book say that the Messiah, Isa son of Maryam, will descend and kill him. Abu al-Za’raa said: I have not heard Hazrat Abdullah narrate any hadith from the People of the Book except this one. Then Hazrat Abdullah said: Then Gog and Magog will emerge; they will strut about the earth and spread corruption in it. Then Hazrat Abdullah recited { وَہُمْ مِنْ کُلِّ حَدَبٍ یَنْسِلُونَ }“and they will come rushing from every high place.”Hazrat Abdullah said: Allah will send a worm upon them, like the worm that is found in the nose of a camel; it will enter their ears and their nostrils, and they will die from it. It was said that the earth will become putrid because of them. Allah will be supplicated, so Allah will send rain upon them, and Allah will send a cold wind, and it will not leave any believer on earth except that it will overturn him. It was said: Then the Hour will be established upon the wicked people. It was said: Then an angel will stand between the earth and the sky holding the trumpet, and he will blow into it. The narrator said: The trumpet is a horn. It was said: None of Allah’s creation in the heavens and the earth will remain except that they will die, except whom Allah wills. Then, as Allah wills, between the two blowings there will be as much time as Allah wills. (The narrator said) Allah will send water from beneath the Throne, like the semen of men. It was said: No offspring of Adam will remain except that something of it (the water) will reach him, so their bodies and their flesh will be revived by this water, just as the earth quickly grows vegetation. Then Hazrat Abdullah recited this verse: Translation:“And Allah is the One Who sends the winds, and they raise the clouds, then We drive them to a dead land, and We revive the earth with it after its death; thus will be the resurrection.”Then it was said: Then an angel will stand between the earth and the sky holding the trumpet, and he will blow into it. Then every soul will go to its body and enter it. It was said: Then they will stand and be alive like one man, and will stand before the Lord of the worlds. Then Allah will appear to the creation in a form and will meet them. So, from the creation, whoever used to worship anything other than Allah, none of them will remain except that thing will be raised for him, and he will follow it. Then He will meet the Jews and say: Whom did you worship? They will say: We worshipped Uzair. Allah will say: Do you desire water? They will say: Yes. (It was said) Allah will show them Hell, and it will appear like a mirage (a mirage is sand that appears as water in the sunlight). Then Hazrat Abdullah recited the verse: Translation:“And on that Day We will bring Hell before the disbelievers.”Then He will meet the Christians and ask: Whom did you worship? They will say: The Messiah (Isa). It was said: Allah will say: Do you desire water? They will say: Yes. Allah will show them Hell, and it will appear as a mirage (that shining sand which appears as water in the sunlight). Then it was said: Then all those who used to worship anything other than Allah will be dealt with in the same way. Then Hazrat Abdullah recited the verse: Translation:“Detain them, for they must be questioned.”Until the group of Muslims comes forward, Allah will ask: Whom did you worship? They will say: We worshipped Allah and did not associate anyone with Him. The narrator says: Allah will say: Did you see Allah...

40431 - He said: Then Gog and Magog will come out and frolic in the land and cause corruption therein. Then (Abdullah) recited: ﴿And they hasten forth from every height﴾ [الأنبياء: ٩٦] . He said: Then Allah will send upon them a beast like this nighaf (larva), which will penetrate into their ears and nostrils, and they will die from it. (He said): The earth will become putrid from them, so people will seek help from Allah, and He will send upon them water (which will purify) the earth from them. Then he said: Allah will send a cold, bitter wind, and it will not leave on earth any believer ⦗396⦘ except that (it will take him) (that) wind. He said: Then the Hour will be established upon the worst of people. He said: Then an angel will stand between the heaven and the earth with the trumpet and blow into it. He said: The trumpet is a horn. He said: No creature (of Allah) will remain in the heaven or on the earth except that it will die, except whom your Lord wills. He said: Then between the two blasts will be whatever Allah wills. He said: Then Allah will sprinkle water from beneath the Throne (8) like the semen (9) of men. He said: There is not a creation (of the son) (10) of Adam (on earth except) (11) that something of him remains. He said: Their bodies (and their flesh) (12) will grow from that water just as (the earth grows) (13) from the dust. Then Abdullah recited: ﴿(And Allah) (14) is He Who sends the winds so they raise the clouds, then We drive it to a dead land and revive thereby the earth after its death; thus is the Resurrection﴾ [فاطر: ٩] . He said: Then an angel will stand between the heaven and the earth with the trumpet and blow into it. He said: Every soul will go to its body and enter it. He said: Then they will stand (and live) (15) (the greeting) (16) of one man (standing) (17) before the Lord of the worlds. Then Allah will appear to the creation and meet them, and there is none among the creation who worshipped anything besides Allah except that he is ⦗397⦘ raised for him (following him) (18). (He will meet) (19) (the Jews) (20) and say: Whom do you worship? They will say: We worship Uzair. He will say: Does (the water please you) (21)? They will say: Yes. He will show them Hellfire, which will appear to them like a mirage, [ثم قرأ عبد اللَّه ﴿وَعَرَضْنَا جَهَنَّمَ (يَوْمَئِذٍ) (٢٢) لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَرْضًا﴾ [الكهف: ١٠٠] , (23) then He will meet the Christians and say: Whom do you worship? They will say: We worship the Messiah. He will say: Does (the water please you) (24)? They will say: Yes. He will show them Hellfire, which will appear to them like a mirage (25). He said: Then likewise for whoever used to worship anything besides Allah. Then (Abdullah recited) (26): ﴿And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned﴾ [الصافات: ٢٤] , until (the Muslims pass) (27) and He says: Whom do you worship? They will say: We worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him. He will say: Do you recognize your Lord? They will say: Glory be to Him, if (He reveals Himself to us) (28), we will recognize Him. He said: At that point, He will uncover His shin, and none will remain except that (he will fall for Allah) (29) in prostration, and the hypocrites will remain (their backs) (30) (as one plate) (31) as if there were ⦗398⦘ (skewers) (32) in them. He will say: You used to be called to prostration while you were sound. Then Allah will command (the Bridge) (33) to be set up over Hell. He said: (People will pass) (34) over it in groups according to their deeds, the first of them like a flash of lightning, then like the wind, then like birds, then like the fastest of animals, and so on, until (a man passes) (35) running, and until a man passes walking, and until the last of them is a man crawling on his belly. He will say: (You delayed) (36) me. He will say: I did not delay you; only your deeds delayed you. He said: Then Allah will permit intercession, and the first to intercede on the Day of Resurrection will be the Holy Spirit, Jibril, then Ibrahim, the Friend of the Merciful, then Musa or Isa (I do not know whether Musa or Isa) (37), then (your Prophet) (38) (39) will stand fourth, and no one will intercede after him in what he intercedes for. This is the Praiseworthy Station which Allah mentioned: ﴿(Perhaps) (40) your Lord will raise you to a Praiseworthy Station﴾ [الإسراء: ٧٩] . There is not a soul except that (it will look) (41) at a house (in) (42) the Fire or a house in Paradise, and (it is) (43) the Day of (Regret) (44). The people of the Fire will see the house that is in Paradise, and it will be said: If only ⦗399⦘ (you had acted) (45), (then regret will seize them) (46). And (the people of Paradise will see) (47) the house that is in the Fire, and they will say: ﴿If not for (the favor of Allah (48) upon us) (49), (He would have made us sink) (50)﴾ [القصص: ٨٢] . He said: Then (the angels, prophets, martyrs, righteous, and believers will intercede) (51), and Allah will accept their intercession. He said: Then He will say: I am the Most Merciful of the merciful. He said: He will bring out from the Fire more than all those brought out (52) from all creation by His mercy, until He does not (leave) (53) in it anyone (54) (in whom) (55) there is any good. Then Abdullah recited: ﴿What led you into Saqar?﴾ [المدثر: ٤٢] . He began counting until he counted four: ﴿They will say: We were not of those who prayed (43), nor did we feed the poor (44), and we used to talk vainly with those who engaged in vain talk (45), and we used to deny the Day of Judgment (46), until there came to us the certainty (47). So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them﴾ [المدثر: ٤٣ - ٤٨] . Then Abdullah said: Do you see any good in these? He does not (leave) (56) in it anyone (in whom) (57) there is any good. When Allah wills that no one comes out of it (anymore) (58), He will change their faces and colors, and a man from among the believers will come ⦗400⦘ (and say: O Lord) (59). He will say: Whoever recognizes anyone, let him bring him out. He will come and look but will not recognize anyone. Then a man will call him: O so-and-so, I am so-and-so. He will say: I do not recognize you. At that point (they will say: ﴿Our Lord, bring us out of it, and if we return [to evil] , then indeed we would be wrongdoers.﴾ He will say) (60): (At that point) (61): ﴿Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me﴾ [المؤمنون: ١٠٨] . He said: When He says that, it will be closed upon them, and none of them will come out (62).
