Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“I have been given five things which were not given to anyone before me. I have been helped by awe (cast into the hearts of my enemies) from a distance of one month’s journey. The entire earth has been made a place of prayer and a means of purification for me. So, any member of my Ummah who finds the time for prayer should pray wherever he is. The spoils of war have been made lawful for me, which were not made lawful for anyone before me. I have been granted intercession. Every prophet was sent exclusively to his own people, but I have been sent to all mankind.”

Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Four things have been granted to me which were not granted to anyone before us. I asked my Lord for a fifth thing, and He granted that to me as well. Previously, a prophet would be sent specifically to his own community, and he would not go beyond that community, but I have been sent to all of mankind. Our enemy is struck with awe from a distance of a month's journey. The entire earth has been made a means of purification and a place of prayer for me. The spoils of war (khums) have been made lawful for us, which were not lawful for anyone before us. And I asked my Lord for a fifth thing: I requested that any individual from my Ummah who appears before Him while affirming His Oneness, Allah Almighty will admit him into Paradise, and Allah granted me this as well."

Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given superiority over people in three respects. The entire earth has been made a place of prayer for us, and its soil has been made a means of purification for us when we do not find water. Our rows (in prayer) have been made like the rows of angels. And I have been given the last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah from the treasure beneath the Throne; such verses have not been given to anyone before me nor will they be given to anyone after me."

Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have been given superiority over other prophets in six respects. I have been given concise speech, I have been helped through awe, spoils of war have been made lawful for me, the earth has been made a means of purification and a place of prayer for me, I have been sent to all of creation, and through me the line of prophets has been concluded."

Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was granted words that begin and conclude speech (i.e., comprehensive and concise words). (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) He was granted comprehensive and conclusive words of goodness. We did not know what we should recite while sitting during prayer until the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us this. He said: You should recite: "All kinds of verbal, physical, and financial worship are exclusively for Allah. O Prophet, peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah. Peace be upon us and upon all the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah. He is the only One. He has no partner. And I bear witness that Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given superiority over the other prophets in six respects: I have been given comprehensive words, I have been supported through awe, spoils of war have been made lawful for me, the entire earth has been made a means of purification and a place of prayer for me, I have been sent to all of creation, and through me the line of prophets has been sealed."

Sayyiduna ‘Irbad bin Sariyah Fazari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say:“I was written as the Seal of the Prophets in the presence of Allah Almighty at a time when Adam (peace be upon him) was still being shaped from clay. And soon I will tell you about its beginning: (I am) the result of the supplication of my forefather Ibrahim (peace be upon him), the glad tidings given by ‘Isa (peace be upon him), and the dream seen by my mother when she gave birth to me—that a light emerged from her body by which the palaces of Syria were illuminated.”

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The example of me and the prophets before me is like a person who built a building and constructed it excellently; he completed it but left the place of one brick in a corner. People walk around the building, admire it, and say: Why was this brick not placed? The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I am that brick, I am the one who completes the series of prophets. May Allah send blessings upon them."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Among the people, I am the closest to the son of Maryam. All the Prophets are paternal brothers, but there is no Prophet between me and him."

The narrator says: Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, also used to narrate: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The example of me and the other Prophets is like a building which has been beautifully constructed, but a place for one brick has been left. People walk around it and are amazed at its excellent construction, but are surprised at the empty place of that one brick, and they do not find any other flaw in the building except that. So I am that place of the one brick; through me, the series of Messengers (being sent) has been completed."

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The example of me and the prophets before me is like a person who built a building, making it beautiful, excellent, and complete. People walk around it and say: 'We have never seen a building more beautiful than this,' but there is a place of one brick left. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: I am that brick."
