697/902 From Abu Huraira who said: I heard the Prophet, peace be upon him, say: "While a shepherd was among his sheep, a wolf attacked and took a sheep from him. The shepherd pursued it, and the wolf turned to him and said: 'Who will look after it on the day of the wild beasts? It has no shepherd other than me.'" The people said: Glory be to Allah! The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "I believe in that; I and Abu Bakr and Umar."(1).

698/903 From Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was at a funeral, and he took something and began to poke with it in the ground. Then he said: "There is not one among you except that his place in the Fire and his place in Paradise has been written." They said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we not rely on what has been written for us and leave off action? He said: "Act! For everyone will be facilitated for that for which he was created." He said: "As for the people of happiness, they will be facilitated for the deeds of happiness, and as for the people of misery, they will be facilitated for the deeds of misery." Then he recited: 'As for he who gives and fears Allah, and believes in the best...' the verses [الليل: 5-7] .

700/906 From Abu Huraira, he said: The people were overtaken by wind on the road to Mecca while Umar was performing Hajj—it became intense, so Umar said to those around him: "What is the wind?" But they did not reply with anything! So I urged my mount and caught up with him. I said: It has reached me that you asked about the wind? And I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say: "The wind is from the spirit of Allah; it comes with mercy and it comes with punishment, so do not curse it, but ask Allah for its good and seek refuge from its evil."

701/907- From Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani; he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in the morning prayer at al-Hudaybiyyah after a night rain had fallen. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, finished, he turned to the people and said: "Do you know what your Lord has said?" They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "This morning, some of My servants have become believers in Me and some disbelievers. As for those who said: 'We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah,' they are believers in Me and disbelievers in the stars. As for those who said: 'We have been given rain by such-and-such a star,' they are disbelievers in Me and believers in the stars."
