Hadith Number: 4858
Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Bedouin came, made his camel sit down, tied it, and entered the mosque. He prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet finished the prayer with salam, the Bedouin went to his mount, untied it, mounted it, and called out in a loud voice:“O Allah! Have mercy on me and on Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and do not include anyone else in our mercy.”The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Do you think he is more ignorant, or his camel? Did you not hear what he said?”The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied: Yes, we heard it. Its chain of narration is weak; it is narrated by Abu Dawood. And the hadith narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him):“It is enough for a man to be considered a liar that he narrates everything he hears.”This has already been mentioned in the first section of the chapter on holding fast (to the Book and Sunnah).

He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes." Then it was asked: "Can a believer be miserly?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Yes." Imran bin Hattan (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I came to Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) and found him alone in the mosque, wrapped in a black cloak with a border. I said to him, "Abu Dharr! Why this solitude?" He replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Solitude is better than a bad companion, and a good companion is better than solitude. Writing a good word is better than silence, while silence is better than writing a bad word.'" Its chain is weak. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he mentioned the entire hadith, and up to this point he said: I said, O Messenger of Allah! Advise me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I advise you to adopt the fear of Allah, for it is the most beautifying for all your affairs." I said: Tell me more! He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite the Qur'an and remember Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, for it will be a mention for you in the heavens and a light for you on the earth." I said: Advise me more. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Always remain silent, for it drives away Satan and helps you in matters of your religion." I said: Tell me more. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Avoid excessive laughter, for it kills the heart and removes the light from the face." I said: Advise me more. The narrator says, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Speak the truth, even if it is bitter." I said: Tell me more. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not fear the blame of any blamer in the matter of Allah." I said: Tell me more.
