‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah:“There is no migration after the conquest of Makkah, but jihad and intention remain. And when you are called for jihad, then set out.”1.
Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih.
2- Sufyan Thawri has also narrated a similar hadith from Mansur bin Mu’tamir.
3- In this chapter, ahadith have also been reported from Abu Sa‘id, ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr, and ‘Abdullah bin Hubshi (may Allah be pleased with them).

‘From Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both)’ regarding the noble verse: «لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين إذ يبايعونك تحت الشجرة» “Allah was pleased with the believers when they gave their pledge to you under the tree.”(Al-Fath: 18), it is narrated that Jabir said: We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) not to flee, and we did not pledge allegiance to him upon death.
Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is narrated with the chain «عيسى بن يونس عن الأوزاعي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن جابر بن عبد الله» , in which the intermediary of Abu Salamah between Yahya bin Abi Kathir and Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) is not mentioned,
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Salamah bin Al-Akwa’, Ibn Umar, Ubadah, and Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them all).

Yazid bin Abi Ubaidullah says: I asked Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him): On the day of Hudaybiyyah, what did you people pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for? He said: For death. 1

'Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says that we used to pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to listen and obey (that is, to listen to your command and obey you), then he would say to us: "As much as you are able."
Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- The meaning of the hadith of Jabir and the hadith of Salamah bin Al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with them both) is correct (there is no contradiction in them). Some companions pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) unto death; they said: We will continue to fight before you until we are killed, and other people, when pledging allegiance to you, said: We will not flee.

Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We did not pledge allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for death; rather, we pledged allegiance to you that we would not flee (even if its outcome would eventually be death).

Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih.

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are three people with whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them of their sins, and for them is a painful punishment: One is the person who pledged allegiance to an Imam, and if the Imam gave him (according to his desire), he fulfilled the pledge, but if he did not give him, he did not fulfill the pledge." __QUR_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:

Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that a slave came and pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for migration. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not know that he was a slave. Meanwhile, his master arrived. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sell him to me." Then he bought him by giving two black slaves. After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not take allegiance from anyone until he asked whether he was a slave. .

Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) is Hasan Sahih Gharib.
2- We know it only from the narration of Abu al-Zubair.
3- There is also a narration in this chapter from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both).

Umaymah bint Ruqayqah (may Allah be pleased with her) says: "I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) along with several women. He said to us: 'Obedience is required in that which you are able to do and have the strength for.' I said: Allah and His Messenger are more merciful to us than we are to ourselves. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Take our pledge (Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah says: She meant, shake hands with us). The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'My statement to one woman is the same as my statement to a hundred women.'"

4- In this chapter, there are also ahadith from Aisha, Abdullah bin Umar, and Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with them).
