Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Whoever comes on the Day of Resurrection free from three things will enter Paradise. (These three things are:) arrogance, dishonesty, and debt."

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Bayda’ (may Allah be pleased with him), who belonged to Banu Abdud-Dar, narrates: Once we were traveling with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and he made those ahead of him sit down, and those who were behind him caught up with him. When the people gathered together, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, whoever testifies that there is no deity except Allah, Allah will make the Hellfire forbidden for him and will make Paradise obligatory for him.”(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) In this narration, the address of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is in reference to a specific context of the situation, and it belongs to the category which I have mentioned in the book“Mughool al-Sunan.”That when a narration contains an address with a specific context, then it is not permissible to issue a ruling based on it in all situations, and every address that was issued by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with a specific context will have two types: one type is that it will be in the presence of a certain situation, and because of that situation, that thing was mentioned. That situation will not have been mentioned along with the report. The second case is: some questions would have been asked to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and he would have given answers to them, so those answers were narrated but the questions were not narrated, so now it is not permissible for anyone to issue a ruling based on that narration, which applies to every situation. In this, neither the concise and the detailed, nor the general and the specific, have been taken into consideration.

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the last moments of Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) approached, he said: "Remove the curtain of the tent, for I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever bears witness with sincerity of heart that there is no deity except Allah, that person will enter Paradise.'"

Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): 'He will enter Paradise,' means that one Paradise is different from another, because there are various types of Paradise. So, whoever makes that declaration—which is the highest branch of faith—but does not reach the stage of action and then passes away, he will enter Paradise. Whoever, after the declaration, also performs deeds, whether few or many, he too will enter Paradise. But this Paradise will be higher than the previous one, because his deeds are more, so his ranks will be higher and his Paradise will be loftier. It is not the case that all Muslims will enter the same Paradise, even though there is disparity and difference among their deeds, because there are various types of Paradise. It is not the case that there is only one Paradise.

Sanabahi narrates: I went to visit Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was near death. I began to weep, so he said to me: Stop, why are you crying? By Allah! If I am asked to bear witness, I will surely bear witness about you, and if I am given the opportunity for intercession, I will intercede for you, and if I am able, I will benefit you. Then he said this: By Allah! Whatever hadith I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in which there was goodness for you, I have conveyed it to you. Only one hadith I have not narrated, and today I will narrate it to you, because now my last moment is near. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever testifies that there is no deity except Allah, and indeed Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, Allah will make the Fire of Hell forbidden for him."

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever among the inhabitants of the earth dies in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah, and he bears witness that I am the Messenger of Allah, and this returns to a heart that is certain, then that person's forgiveness is granted." The narrator says: I asked, "Did you hear this from Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) himself?" The narrator says, the people present stared at me, but they said: "Leave him, he has not said anything wrong. Yes! I heard this from Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him). Do you not like the rule of your cousin?" Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: "No! And because of this word, the person's body and soul will feel comfort at the time of death.'" (Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated) "Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed away, but I was not able to ask him about this word." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "In my opinion, it is the same word that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) wanted his uncle (Abu Talib) to say.
